I saw it pop open and powder fall everywhere… a small arc of white flakes. So tiny, yet so significant. I tried to scoop it into my palm so as to collect as much as I could for my mouth but it was futile. Attempting to open the bottle again proved even worse and I made my way back to my bedroom from the kitchen feeling my insides rattle...

Hop in hot stuff!” (My husband picking me up) “That’s a cool hat Mom.” (My son after careful examination) “We’ll do the lip and sides of the fire pit tomorrow.” (The landscaper looking away awkwardly. Poor guy lol) And my neighbors slooooooooowly driving by checking out the show when my husband dropped me off at home. All first, varied reactions to my EEG get-up. I must admit I look pretty funny and I’d never guess what these wires and weird netting are for if I wasn’t in this situation. I feel grateful today though.

Ridiculous, I know, but since forever, I've always wanted to jump out of a plane with a jar in one hand and the lid in the other over a pile of fluffy, brilliantly white clouds. And ultimately I'd turn the jar face down and catch a piece of that cotton candy sky, seal it tight and then I would never have to be fully back "down to earth" with it by my side...
